History
Lincoln County Community Opioid Response Effort (LC-CORE) was formed in 2019 to establish a collaborate effort to fight the opioid crisis affecting Lincoln County, Missouri. Founding members included key healthcare, mental health, law enforcement, treatment, community organizations, and community members.
LC-CORE is building upon efforts prior to the COVID-19 pandemic to reinvigorate its membership, strengthen partnerships, and problem-solve the substance use issues facing the area due to the last two years. New members are always welcome.
Mission
Ending the epidemic of opioid addiction affecting Lincoln County to improve the lives of residents who are experiencing mental health and substance use issues, and their families. This will be accomplished through a focus on the following areas:
